Friendly host, very accommodating. Not only is she sweet natured she is knowledgeable about the locality. restful ambience to the house, the outdoor space was very tranquil. We spent a couple of nights in the local square taking in the local culture . Breakfast was great and plenty full.
I can only describe it as a home from home. Sasha and Craig are the most wonderful hosts. It is such a warm and welcoming feeling living in this "home". Nothing is any trouble. One feels so comfortable here. I slept like a baby. Breakfast is great with delicious coffee. The whole village is so quiet and relaxing, with a wonderful municipal swimming pool just a few yards up the road. I want to come back. We just love it here, as it is so central to many wonderful places to visit.
We stayed for one night at Posada de Castano on a short walking holiday in Sierra Aracena. The house is nicely situated in a pretty village just off the walking trails. Breakfast was a treat with lots of variety - just what we needed ahead of a day of walking! Craig also organised airport transfers, luggage transfers, guided us for half a day and helped plan routes for the other days. He went above and beyond in helping our group out, even booking restaurants for us and helping with various aspects of logistics. A true gem of a spot and hosts who go above and beyond.
